The Chamber helps link the leaders of business and government. As a member of the West Metro Chamber, you can network with other business professionals, resulting in new contacts, new ideas and new opportunities.

Membership Opportunities:

Monthly Breakfast
Monthly Breakfast meetings provide networking opportunities and allow you to hear guest speakers share topics of local importance. It meets every 4th Tuesday in the month, except December, at various sites.

Business After-Hours
Business After-Hours are held periodically to allow you to get to know other members in a more casual atmosphere. If you're new to the area, or even if you've lived here your whole life, after-hours are a great opportunity to get to know some of your neighbors and local professionals.

Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities

Leadership and volunteer opportunities are available to those who want to participate on any of the various Chamber committees. The Chamber organizes and sponsors the following events: Golf Tournament, Monthly Breakfast Meetings, Lexington County High School Sportsarama, Annual Awards Dinner & Silent Auction, Concert Series on the Riverwalk, and the Holiday Parade of Lights.

Community Involvement
Because the Chamber is working to improve the community, it's natural for the organization to be deeply concerned about issues relating to economics, education and government. The chamber regularly hosts political forums to help citizens make an informed decision in local elections. The Community Relations Committee meets monthly to discuss issues facing the community.

Insurance Plan
The Chamber offers the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Health Insurance Plan to member organizations-- an excellent benefit for small businesses.

Ribbon Cuttings

To get you off on the right foot and to help improve your exposure to the local community, the Chamber can assist you in setting up a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Community Information
The Chamber provides tourism and community information to individuals requesting it. Members are encouraged to provide the West Metro office with business flyers.

Membership Directory
You'll receive a Visitors Guide/Membership Directory with all members listed by business classification and member name.

Member to Member Discounts
Use your Chamber Discount Card and receive discounts at participating Chamber businesses.

Chamber Gift Certificate Program
West Metro Chamber Gift Certificates are redeemable when presented to many West Metro area businesses for the purchase of goods and/or services. .

Newsletters
You'll receive the West Metro's Bi-Monthly newsletter "Just One Minute". The publications contain dates of events, names of new members, accomplishments of members and community news.

Tax-Deductible Membership

The IRS considers a chamber membership to be a necessary business expense. A Chamber membership is 100 percent tax deductible.
